TERMS OF USE & DIRECTORY POLICIES

Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 2026 • Verified Annual Review

1. Acceptance of Terms & Website Purpose

Welcome to GoCoronado.com. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. GoCoronado serves as an independent, locally curated travel guide, business directory, and visitor resource for Coronado Island, California.

2. Directory Accuracy, Hours & Transit Departures

We make every reasonable effort to keep ferry schedules, hotel pricing ranges, restaurant happy hour times, and public park hours updated. However, businesses and transit agencies may modify departure times, menu offerings, admission fees, or seasonal operating hours without notice.

We encourage visitors to confirm critical details, especially ferry morning commuter departures and holiday dining reservations, directly with respective operators before arrival.

3. External Merchant Transactions & Bookings

GoCoronado does not directly process room bookings, boat charters, or tour ticket sales. When you click outbound reservation links, transactions occur directly through third-party hotel platforms, booking engines, or local vendors. Any inquiries regarding reservations, refunds, cancellations, or service quality must be directed to the third-party merchant.

4. Intellectual Property & Brand Assets

All textual guides, curated rankings, custom diagrams, and directory architecture on GoCoronado.com are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or redistribution of directory content without explicit written consent is prohibited.

5. Coastal Safety & Recreation Disclaimer

Outdoor coastal activities, including ocean surfing, tide pooling, kayaking, paddleboarding, and biking along the Bayshore Bikeway, carry inherent natural risks. Visitors must observe posted Coronado Lifeguard warning flags, adhere to Dog Beach leash boundary regulations, and swim near staffed lifeguard towers. GoCoronado assumes no liability for accidents, ocean condition changes, or personal injury sustained during island recreation.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
