The Course Experience

Designed by Jack Daray Jr. and opened in 1957, Coronado Golf Course is legendary for its open, flat layout, immaculate greens, and ocean breezes. Located along the shoreline of Glorietta Bay, you will watch sailboats drift past while standing on the tees.

Unlike many resort courses that charge upwards of $300 per round, Coronado remains a city-owned municipal facility dedicated to accessible public golf.

Local Booking Advice: Non-residents can reserve tee times up to 14 days in advance online or via the automated phone system. If tee times appear fully booked, show up early in the morning and put your name on the single player walk-on standby list.

Signature Holes to Watch

Hole 8: Par 4 (394 Yards) Front Nine Climax

A sweeping dogleg left that borders the tranquil waters of Glorietta Bay. Strong crosswinds coming off the bay challenge your approach shot into a well-guarded green.

Hole 16: Par 3 (176 Yards) Scenic Showcase

Arguably the most photographed par 3 in San Diego County. You hit directly toward the towering blue arches of the Coronado Bridge with navy water rippling right beside the fairway.

Hole 18: Par 4 (410 Yards) Clubhouse Finish

A demanding closing hole where water guards the entire right side. Your final approach lands directly in front of the Feast and Fareway clubhouse patio crowd.
